Alternatively, you could run them via pipetty (package: colorized-logs).

That tool doesn't redirect stdin, but these tests:

don't look like they care about that.  In case that's a problem, a wrapper
like:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/crawl/crawl/master/crawl-ref/source/util/fake_pty.c
would do the trick.

But then, it's you who knows whether these tests do anything that matters.
