[Pkg-rust-maintainers] rustc running out of memory on mips

rustc keeps running out of memory on mips, and the newer versions seem to take up more memory. For example the build on 1.30.0 succeeded 1 in 3-4 times. However I haven't been able to get the newer version to succeed even once, it always OOMs.

I've tried:

- forcing DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS=parallel=1
- setting codegen-units to 1
- giving -Z no-parallel-llvm

Nothing has worked so far. I'm running out of patience and want to get the latest version 1.32 migrated to testing ASAP. Does anyone have any suggestions? If not we will need to RM rustc from unstable. That would be a big shame, because most other things actually build fine on mips - e.g. cargo:
