I'm the guy from https://salsa.debian.org/rust-team/debcargo-conf/-/commit/3284dd1fb169971ae37cc91d132af55a75cdde8e
and will do another attempt (and even more attempts ;-).

Please speak up  incase  my learning trajectory does hurt the flow of
our project  debian-rust.
