For future sake, better than Cc'ing via personal email someone, whom you
happen to know is currently involved in a package, is to tag that the
other bug blocks this bug.

for this issue, I have already done that tagging now, like this in the
console (with devscripts installed and a working local smtp):

  bts block 1089894 by 1089204

That blocking hint is potentially useful also later when the packages,
maybe not in sync, transitions to other suites in Debian or some of its
derivatives.
