The crate inflector is dead upstream, and therefore unsuitable for
stable distribution.

If you disagree and there is no harm in this, then it might be wise to
involve the security team to get their opinion as well.

The crate cruet describes itself as a fork of inflector - whether or not
that is a drop-in and in other respects recommendable replacement,
I don't know.
