FWIW, the 1.86 build in experimental worked again, so I won't take
further action unless the unstable build fails again.

The ppc64el build did fail there, but mainly because a test case
upstream was broken that is meanwhile fixed in master, so I'll
cherry-pick that fix as well before the final upload.
