Yep this sounds ok.  My prediction is that we won't have a cargo-distro
packaging story by rustc 1.2 - since I don't think it is a priority for the
cargo folks(?).  Waiting a release or two to shake out issues with the 1.1
libstd/dylibs packaging approach seems reasonable.
