[Pkg-rust-maintainers] Packaging rust.vim?

The main rust repository used to contain the Rust vim mode in-tree;
however, a while back it got split into the separate repository
https://github.com/rust-lang/rust.vim .  Does anyone have plans to
package rust.vim for Debian?

Packages like vim-fugitive provide a model for how to package vim modes
for Debian.  The standard packaging places the package in
/usr/share/vim/addons, provides a YAML file in /usr/share/vim/registry/
for use by vim-addon-manager, and also allows manually symlinking the
main files into ~/.vim/plugin .
