[Pkg-rust-maintainers] Rust on ppc64el

Hello,

I am interested in bootstrapping Rust in the ppc64el port. I saw that
some work was happening upstream, and I have a machine and interest to
do so[1].

Is there anything I can do, or, should I start bootstrapping it from
scratch?
