I don't understand this either. Can you explain why this is a
catagorically so?
Firefox-esr has a clear advantage for stable users in that the interface
doesn't change as often, and there's no upstream backports programme
like firefox-esr for chromium.
But having up-to-date versions of major software packages which are
well-maintained upstream like browsers and active programming languages
are also clearly advantageous for stable users. How is Debian chosing
between these goals? Why not pursue both?
