It doesn't, but it is probably a good time to tackle the issue.
I recalled a similar discussion with docs.rs authors, and the idea is to use 
the metadata table for that. We just need to agree on some kind of shared 
schema.

I think that splitting this discussion from this ML thread into a github 
ticket will improve visibility and adoption.
