Usually, we cut the branch on Monday, produce our artifacts, write up
the release notes and blog post, and actually publish Thursday. But
given that beta is basically a release candidate anyway, I guess in
theory we could make sure that we get our backports in (There's going
to be at least one this week or early next) and you could start the
build a few days early to buy the time. We generally aren't trying to
toss patches in at the last second anyway, but sometimes it happens...
