Thanks for reporting this Michael, you are right, it is fixed in
upstream. We have this version (0.15.3) ready for upload at alioth,
but our sponsors have been very busy/quiet lately.
Hopefully they will find time to upload either this release shortly or
the 0.16 release which should be due soonish.
FYI - the salt PPA packages are either backported from the uploaded
debian packages or the version in git at alioth if our sponsors have
not uploaded them.
