Package: salt-ssh
Version: 2014.1.13+ds-1
Severity: normal
Tags: upstream

Dear Maintainer,

Pillars are not transported to the remote host with the current version
of salt-ssh in debian.
The pillar being simply empty on the remote site when eg. used throug
file.manage:contents_pillar.

After a long discussion on #salt they basically said salt-ssh is
_really_ beta and i'm adviced to use 2014.7 instead of even trying
to use salt-ssh 2014.1.

After buliding deb's for 2014.7 and testing them i must admit they
where right, salt-ssh really got a _lot_ better and all bugs that made
it cumbersome to use where fixed. (eg. Saltfile is now supported too,
which comes in handy with salt-ssh).

ps.: they even suggested filing an RC bug against salt-ssh as they
deem it unusable and not fit for production (but hey, the basics work).
