Source: salt
Version: 3004.1+dfsg-2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I suspect a typo here:
https://salsa.debian.org/salt-team/salt/-/blob/debian/unstable/debian/salt-master.init#L53

Should it be:
echo $pids | xargs kill > /dev/null 2>&1
in place of:
echo $pids | xargs kill 2&1> /dev/null
?

Note that the same line exists in the upstream file: pkg/deb/salt-master.init

Regards,
Patrice

ps: this follows a point here: https://lists.debian.org/debian-qa/2023/02/msg00052.html
