Hi,

I asked for membership in the team for the only reason to move the
repository I created temporarily at

   https://salsa.debian.org/tille/salt-pepper

I took over the repository from the alioth archive and fixed the two
bugs I'm hereby tagging pending.

I wonder whether you want to

  1. take over from here
  2. let me do a team upload
  3. rather let me NMU

the current status.

I did *not* upgraded to latest upstream for the following reasons:

  1. You either need to patch out
      a) setuptools_scm when taking source from Github or
      b) patchout pipy when taking the source from there

  2. I tried 1.a but than (and after adding Build-Depends
     python3-mock + python3-pytest) I ended up with

      E   ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'salt'

     inside the build time test.

This goes beyond what I volunteer to solve in a Bug of the Day
project[1] which motivated me to fix the bugs above.
