PS: Are you aware of the lintian warnings 'script-not-executable' [1].<br>
Is the deploy directory needed in the package?<br></blockquote><div><br><br>At least some of it is needed for salt-cloud. The bootstrap<br>script [1] is copied to the remote host and run to install<br>salt. The others are outdated and are probably closer to examples<br>of alternatives to the bootstrap.<br><br>I could move some of them to an examples directory in salt-doc,<br>make them executable or remove most of them and still just have<br>the bootstrap script.<br><br>None of those solutions are particularly satisfying - which is<br>why the lintian issues are still there. Any guidance would be<br>most appreciated.<br><br>Thanks for this and the other bug report,<br><br>Joe<br><br>[1]  usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/salt/cloud/deploy/bootstrap-salt.sh</div></div></div></div>
