Should I interprete this as a tentative to give some help to the
samba package maintenance team? :-)

If so, feel free to subscribe to
pkg-samba-maint at lists.alioth.debian.org, play with the BTS, propose
patches....and yell to get commit access in the SVN..

If not, thanks anyway...Future help still appreciated.
