I think something in Debian ought to provide the samba.schema file; I don't
think it should be in the 'samba' package itself, since the LDAP and samba
servers may run on separate machines, but perhaps a "glue" package that
depends on both samba and LDAP could make good use of it.

This bug is open because once upon a time I had an intention to work on such
a thing...
