[Pkg-samba-maint] update problem with package 'samba v3.0.23d-4'

I run into a problem after updating a samba installation from 
v3.0.14a-3) towards v3.0.23d-4.
The update resulted in the addition of the following row in the 
/etc/inetd.conf:
'microsoft-ds stream tcp nowait root /usr/sbin/smbd smbd'

This wasn't mentioned by the updater and therefore I wasn't aware nor 
able to suppress this change, which is necessary in my setup.

What made things worse was that after the change of the inetd.conf file 
the inetd wasn't restarted so that a week later when I had to reboot the 
server I was confronted with a Samba PDC that didn't function as 
expected; the Windows 2003 member servers in the domain couldn't find a 
PDC, they showed a 'no RPC-server available' in their event log.
