  I have a fresh installation of the Debian (4.0r0 - etch), and
  I haven't done much to change the default setting of smb.conf.
  I am still encountering the classical problem:

    [2007/07/16 20:51:23, 0] auth/auth_util.c:create_builtin_administrators(785)
      create_builtin_administrators: Failed to create Administrators
    [2007/07/16 20:51:23, 0] auth/auth_util.c:create_builtin_users(751)
      create_builtin_users: Failed to create Users

  I am completely clueless here, hoping for a helping hand.  Could you
  please enlighten?
