I talked to Julien on IRC and mentioned that I thought it would be better to
put the version script under source/libsmb instead of directly under source.

Otherwise, the patch looks sane to me, and I don't have any reason to
disagree with Julien's check for a compatible version of ld.

Julien, let me know if you prefer me to advocate this patch upstream.
