smbsh hasn't been viable on Linux for a long time, because the method used
for implementing smbwrapper stopped working due to glibc changes.  I don't
believe anyone has taken the time to get it working upstream since then.

So 2) is not an option AFAIK.

3) doesn't make sense to me, I don't see why you would want to ship a
manpage in section 1 for a non-existent "example" program.

1) looks correct to me.
