smbfs is deprecated and support for mounting subdirectories will never
be added to it.

Such support has been added to the cifs module and userland utilities
just after SambaXP 2007. 

We probably don't have this in the Linux kernel yet, but that should
happen pretty soon.

Given that support in the userland utilities is already there, I
hereby propose closing this bug ASAP.
