  Since I noticed that you were quite busy with the Etch release I thought 
about sending the patch myself to the samba team, but a) I didn't have the 
time to collect all the necessary information and b) I don't think 3.0.25 
prereleases is a good moment for proposing it.

  I still try to work on it but my time is quite limited ATM.
