These are two names for overlapping sets of technologies.

This has nothing to do with NetBIOS transport.
The bug has been confirmed as only applying to the Debian security updates,
not to upstream's 3.0.27a release. Unfortunately, upstream didn't provide a
blessed patch for distros in need of a backport, and it looks like one of
the relevant changes was missed. I think I have the right patch now, and
need to go through the process of merging it.
