Julien Cristau already suggested me to jump so I will.
However, we could maybe first discuss the *text* I will send to
upstream before posting to -technical.
We need to describe the patches and why It Is Good for the Samba Team
to change samba to better fit the FHS. Here I somehat suspect some
discussions and potentially some disagreements so we'd better have a
good and clear argumentation.
Here, I fear not being always as clear as I would like to be which is
why I suggest we first write something together and, yes, this is a
call for Steve..:-)
