[Pkg-samba-maint] Problems with autoconf.patch and 3.2.0pre1

I'm working on 3.2.0pre1 builds.

Apart from adapting a few patches slightly, my main problem is
autoconf.patch.

I followed Steve's instructions by applying all patches up to it, then
force autoconf.patch, then:

cd source  ; autoconf -I lib/replace

Then I get:

configure.in:7: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_DEFINE
If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow.
      See the Autoconf documentation.
configure.in:11: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_MSG_WARN
configure.in:25: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_DISABLE_STATIC
configure.in:26: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_ENABLE_SHARED
configure.in:400: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_MSG_ERROR
configure.in:431: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_TRY_RUN_STRICT
configure.in:508: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_PROG_LD_GNU
configure.in:1018: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_DIRENT_D_OFF
configure.in:1633: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_LIBTESTFUNC

Steve, can you help, here?
