DFS support does require configuration of /etc/request-key.conf for the
upcalls, AIUI.  Have you configured this, and if so, how?

According to the comments at the top of source/client/cifs.spnego.c, the
correct line is:

  create cifs.resolver * * /sbin/cifs.spnego [-v] %k

Have you done this?

Anyway, it looks like 2.6.26-1 is the first Debian kernel version that
enables the DFS upcall support.
