Hello Farnk,

Back in 2006, you reported a bug which you wer facing with samba
3.0.21a and WinXX clients when users have a Samba password that
differs from their Unix password:

        passdb/pdb_tdb.c:tdb_update_ridrec_only(680) smbd[25580]:   Unable to modify TDB
                passwd ! Error: Record does not exist
                        smbd[25580]: occured while storing the RID index (RID_00000bd2)


I think this was either something specific to your system or even some
setup mistake that lead to this as no such error was reported later
while we obviously still have many users with WinXX machines.

The version this bug is reported against is not even samba version in
etch.


Without news, I see no other alternative than closing the bug with
something like "unreproducible"...
