Quoting mparent-guest at alioth.debian.org (mparent-guest at alioth.debian.org):

> * create /var/log/ctdb/
> * log file : /var/log/log.ctdb -> /var/log/ctdb/ctdb.log

Is there a rationale for this? I don't remember exactly what does the
policy say, but I would think that using a dedicated log directory
should be done when there's more than one log file.

Others' opinions?

If you keep these patches, I suggest you document them with a header
just like we did with the patches for samba. See
trunk/samba/debian/patches for examples.

The header can then explain:
- rationale
- author
- fixed bugs (optional)
- whether or not the patch is Debian-specific or, if it is not,
whether it's been reported upstream.
