I'm afraid this will not happen.

New upstream versions in stable versions of Debian is not in the
general policy of the project.

We would probably even have hard times convincing the stable release
managers to accept a modified 3.0.24 which would include the
interoperability patches.

Really, so close to the release of Lenny, I think it's probably better
to suggest you to consider the migration of impacted servers. Probably
a not trivial process on production servers (it involves samba bumping
from 3.0.* to 3.2.*) but much worth it now.

The alternative would be building 3.0.32 packages locally, of
course...
