We made it. Finally.

As of yesterday, samba 3.3.2 packages which we had in testing were
uploaded and ACCEPTed in lenny-backports.

That will allow users of lenny to have the option to follow samba
development more closely and benefit from the improvement bringed by
the Samba Team to upstream samba.

The most important feature we bringed, imho, is the cupport for ctdb
(clustered trivial database) that allows several samba servers to work
as a cluster.

This is also thanks to Mathieu Parent's work to backport ctdb from
testing to lenny-backports as this support in samba was requiring a
ctdb version that's more recent than the one we have in lenny.

Hopefully, we will be able to sustain the load and keep up with
backports of upstream samba version we upload in unstable, when they
enter testing.

And, to prove that, I'm currently having a samba 3.3.3 upload as the
3.3.3 packages just entered testing yesterday..:-)
