[Pkg-samba-maint] I'd like to package the netdomjoin-gui

From me, no. 

I'd suggest you to follow the current practice we have for samba,
which is described in trunk/samba/debian/README.source:

- import the upstream source in tags/netdomjoin-gui/upstream, with
svn-load

- create trunk/netdomjoin-gui by copying that branch there and add the
needed debian/ directory and all the needed build stuff


etc....

In the same time, you need to send an ITP bug report (Intent To
Package) as described in http://www.debian.org/wnpp

Then, of course, work on the packaging and prepare a first upload,
then convince one DD of us to  sponsor the upload.

Of course, doing so, you commit yourself to follow bug reports and all
that kind of stuff. Be careful, all this is exactly how Jelmer finally
got transformed into a DD....:)
