I haven't looked deeply at this bug report as you were faster than
me..:-)
Do you think it's worth the hassle to rebuild a 3.4.0 with that patch
or do we wait for 3.4.1?
3.4.1 was due out by Aug. 18 but has been delayed by upstream for bug
#6099 that doesn't seem to be solved yet.
3.4.0 is anyway kept out of testing because of #538034....
