[Pkg-samba-maint] Proposed patch: logon/logoff scripts...

I've found on the net these patches:

	http://www.utsc.utoronto.ca/~harper/samba/domain.html

that add to samba the ability to execute scripts on logon/logoff, and
that can be really useful at least for logging purpose.

The author say:

The patches are below. I did submit early versions to the Samba group
but after a year they have not made it into the distribution, so maybe
no one else thinks they are useful. Oh well.

and asking some samba authors (Simo Sorce) say me that patch was never
applied because this entrypoint are not reilable: if machine crash
there's no logout at all (for example)...

But looking on the net i've found:

	http://www.isdecisions.com/en/software/userlock/eight-holes-in-windows-login-controls.htm

so seems that these are not samba bug, but really this is broken by
design, that have to be (fully) solved by a client-side tools (as
http://www.isdecisions.com/ sell).

So these patches are not 'broken' or bad written, there's simply no way
to add this functionality to samba (or to any SMB-compatible server)
anyway.
And i think that the feature they add are very useful at least for
logging purpose.

So, simply, i ask to include these patches to samba debian package.

Say me if i have to log a 'feature request bug' to the debian BTS.
Thanks.
