3.4.3 for 32-bit (client side) is installable but doesn't cure the problem. 
Also Ubuntu 9.10 clients (3.4.0 ?) have the problem. Might be it is server 
sided. I will upgrade my server as soon as 3.4.3 is ok for amd64.
