[Pkg-samba-maint] Problem in libpam-smbpass.postinst?

While trying to install (with dpkg) newly built 3.3.1 packages, which
also include recent changes by Steve in libpam-smbpass:

Paramétrage de libpam-smbpass (2:3.3.1-1) ...
/var/lib/dpkg/info/libpam-smbpass.postinst: 5: pam-auth-update: not found
dpkg : erreur de traitement de libpam-smbpass (--install) :
 le sous-processus post-installation script a retourné une erreur de sortie d'état 127

I suspect there is a missing dependency somewhere....
