[Pkg-samba-maint] Samba crashing from today's apt-get updated packages? A new bug?

Dear Sir or Madam:

I don't know if I am the only one with this problem (a new bug?) or
what.

Earlier, I did an apt-get update and apt-get upgrade. Then, i noticed my
Samba was not working in Windows XP Pro. SP3. Explorer said:
"\\192.168.0.46 is not accessible..." I tried stopping, restarting,
Samba, but it did not work.

I investigated and found Samba coredumping:

I recall during the upgrades, I got a prompt to restart services like Samba, vsftpd, etc. I allowed it and I believe this part broke it. I think it was because it needed to upgrade libc binaries.

So how do I fix this? Thank you in advance. :)

Best regards,
Phillip Pi
