I *really* *really* wonder whether this is a real bug or just some
need for help that you might better get from the samba support mailing
lists than by sending a bug report against the Debian package,
virtually asking us, Debian maintainers, to do user support in the use
of complex software such as Samba.
I don't really see how you can prevent logins by *just* doing the
above. You certainly have some other setup quirks that need more
investigating (hint: pam_winbind or pam_smbpass calls in /etc/pam.d).
Please investigate more on your side first.
