Yes, I have prepared the packages in the ctdb/lenny-backports branch.
This has been tested (more than the squeeze version) and works like a
charm. unfortunately I was not able to deploy this in production due
to some problem with redhat cluster suite from lenny.

I have tried several times to upload it but my previous expired key is
still on the servers
(http://lists.backports.org/lurker-bpo/search/20091112.143629.00000000@ctdb,rejected.en.html)

Can you build and upload?

$sudo pbuilder --create --distribution lenny --basetgz
/var/cache/pbuilder/lenny-base.tgz
$sudo pbuilder --update --distribution lenny --basetgz
/var/cache/pbuilder/lenny-base.tgz

$cd pkg-samba/branches/ctdb/lenny-backports
$svn-buildpackage --svn-builder pdebuild --debbuildopts '-v1.0.99-1'
-- --distribution lenny --basetgz /var/cache/pbuilder/lenny-base.tgz

( See http://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/pkg-samba-maint/2009-March/006869.html
as reminder.)

Of course. Great!

Cheers
