Symbols should never be dropped from a library's exported interface without
changing the soname or, at minimum, the package name. If you believe all of
these symbols (including the wbc* ones) are guaranteed not to break binary
compatibility with anything that depends on this library, please document
this in the changelog; otherwise, please revert this change and push
upstream for an soname change in 3.6.0 final.
