Sure, that seems to be the minimum needed. My question was more about
aligning with the versioned dependency in samba. I have no idea why
1.0.1-11 is the minimum needed for samba. I roughly guessed that
having this one for samba would mean we need the same for
winbind...and I was too lazy to really investigate at that time (read
"I was doing something else"..:-)).

This reminds me that we did nothing about this bug yet. I'll commit a
fix with a dependency on "libpam-runtime (>= 1.0.1-6)" in SVN.

Before uploading a fixed package with this, I'd however need to know
about the stance of the release team about  our proposal to bump samba
to 3.5.4 for squeeze.
