No that's fine. 3.4.4 will request around 16k open files, to fix a bug with
Win7.
I'm starting to look at the spoolss pipe code, as the wireshark trace shows a
continuous stream of spoolss requests. My best guess is that there's a pointer
reference (malloc based) that is being held far too long....

Can you build from source ? If so I would like to send you a snapshot of what
will be 3.4.4 (including the fix in comment #16), as there have been many
spoolss fixes and I'd like to ensure this isn't something we've already fixed.
