Hello Kiryl,

In this bug report, you mentioned problems when setting directory
permissions from Windows on directories in samba shares on a lenny
server running 3.2.5.

In your smb.conf file, I see:

        create mask = 0660
        directory mask = 0770
        inherit permissions = Yes
        inherit acls = Yes

It is quite likely that this interacts in some way with you settign up
permissions from Windows.

Have you tried to mess around with these settings?

Alternatively, are you in position to try a backported version of
samba:
