This roughly fits information I got from one talk at SambaXP: some
printer (read "some drivers") still do not behave properly with Samba
and some might even never behave properly.

Still, another attempt that can be done woul be using the unofficial
backport of samba 3.5 to lenny, which we maintain on
http://pkg-samba.alioth.debian.org/packages/lenny-backports-latest/

Printing code changed significantly between 3.4 and 3.5, according to
Günther Deschner's talk at SambaXP....so there might be some more
improvement again.

And, if problems still appear, then it could be time for a good level
10 debug log...:-)

Of course, I understand this might be hard to do on a production
server. Been there myself too...:-)
