I already isolated upstream fixes from samba 3.5.8. These are
mentioned to fix upstream #7567. It seems from all comments in
upstream #6727 that this is the same bug.

I might be building a test version of samba 3.5.6 that will include
these fixes. As my test machine has the i386 flavour of Debian, these
will be i386 packages, not amd64.

Would you be in position of testing it?
