Hello Philip,

I'm sorry we couldn't really find any solution or answer to the
problem you were facing, back in May-June 2010, with pam_winbind.

Since then, squeeze was released, with Samba 3.5 in it. So, it's
likely that you upgraded this machine since then and I would like to
know whether the problem is still here.

Sorry, again, for not giving more news about all this. But, TBH, the
problem was tricky and not much information came out from the
debugging that happened.

I'm properly version-tagging this bug as it was not happening with
3.2.5 versions but only backported packages.
