Oh indeed, sorry. :)

That was specific to the case where we were tracking two separate *upstream*
branches - a stable branch and a prerelease branch.  In this case, there's
no such issue.  Please drop the upstream-jessie branch and just put this on
the upstream branch instead.

It would be better to get rid of all the subversion branches and replace
this with a DVCS. ;)
