[Pkg-samba-maint] Bug#654499: Seeking advice: what to do about this "contains waf binary code" bug report?

It's time for us to deal with RC bugs..:-)

Jelmer tagged it "fixed-upstream" but I have no idea why...

And I know nothing about this waf sh**^W marvel except that tjis is
apparently a nightmare to deal DFSG-compliantly.

So, Jelmer, others, advices?
